demi -fiend
demi-fiend minna no kuji a prize by furyu
Demi-fiend! Yes! He finally, finally gets a figure that doesn't look horribly smooshed (i'm looking at you, hideous trading card game figure)
It has detail! It's beautiful! I'm extremely happy! Can you tell =P He's around, i guess, 1/10 scale (17 cm approx) maybe a little bigger than that (so he's not in scale with Raidou, nuuuuu) but he's literally perfect so i don't care! The only way they could top this is by bringing out a cool 1/8 scale. Maybe with one of his jackets and alternate pose? It would be awesome. Please MegaHouse? =3 |
demi-fiend deluxe pack promo figure
There's been a point of contention about where this figure comes from but from what i can find, it seems to have come with the deluxe edition of Shin megami tensei: nocturne.
There's a figure quite similar to this one which came with the trading card game, but it's quite different in that there are 4 figures to choose from instead of just one: Chiaki, demi-fiend, Isamu and another demi-fiend with strong turquoise lines. Those figures are exceptionally rare and expensive as well as more detailed, whereas this one is quite common and...yeah. He looks a lot better than i thought he would, after reading some reviews and seeing other people's pictures. For such a small figure the paint work is really good, especially on his markings. For the most part, the sculpting is ok. It's worst on his face and hair...i dunno, his hair especially just looks awkward. The painting on his face is solid though. He's also oddly rubbery and has the ability to move his arms at the shoulder...but they only move half way. I'm scared i'll damage him if i force them all the way round. It's kind of a weird feature to add to an otherwise static figure but ok. |

raidou kuzunoha
game characters collection dx Raidou kuzunoha 1/8 scale figure by megahouse
Yeeeeesss he's finally here!
This figure is my most anticipated this year, joint with GCS's deep sea Miku, and boy does he not disappoint. We didn't find out what his base was going to look like until his release, so i think that's my favourite part. I was thinking, y'know, maybe a black rectangle, maybe with pictures of sakura blossoms or something. Instead we get a well detailed chunk of pavement for our summoner to stand on! And it keeps getting better from there. His face turned out lovely; details like his cape, tubes, gun and the individual bullets on his belt are also very well sculpted. I also love the shading. His clothes could look very dull and flat since they're black, but a lot of very subtle grey shading was used to prevent that. The purple of his cape is similarly well done. |
His cape causes a few balance issues though, (probably why he needed such a large base) since he begun to lean the moment i put it on; i'll have to keep an eye on that. It would have been good to have metal pegs in his feet or a clear arm to support his legs better, i feel.

raidou kuzunoha d-arts figure
It's really frustrating getting something with a lot of issues like this. I have the Elizabeth D-arts too, and her quality control was top notch. Not a single issue i can think of, so i wonder what happened here?

This is a pretty cool figure! He comes with his sword and sheath, gun, two extra tubes, cape, magic effect piece (i don't know what to call it) and quite a few hands (no extra heads).
It's great to have a poseable figure of him, especially to display with the demons! I like the way they've sculpted his face and many of his accessories. His eyes are particularly nice, especially since they've followed the art style quite closely instead of just using a generic anime look. For all the awesome detail though, the paint work really isn't done well. His neck is a different colour to his face with excess plastic on one side. Bits of the black paint from his clothes is smeared across the magical effect part and the purple of his cape. His clothing has blotches and patches of matte where it hasn't been finished off, and some of the yellow/brown shading from his holster has escaped onto his shirt. I actually had to scrape the inside of his gun holster with a craft knife, because a chunk of plastic hadn't been removed and i couldn't fit the gun in otherwise. Besides that, he can't sit very well, (because his shirt gets in the way) he has molding issues on one side of his face and his joints are incredibly stiff. |

alice and jack frost
Trivia time! My sister chose my middle name - Alice - after Alice in wonderland. I love Alice in wonderland! X3 The story, the Disney film, even the American Mcgee games, so it's obvious i used Alice in my playthrough of P3P. This is her lottery figure here - she's chilling out with Jack frost, the series' mascot who i'm not too fussed about, but he's very cute!
I've heard that this figure hasn't impressed too many people though, because people find her eyes and hair weird/crap. I like everything about the figure: the shading, paint, features, material...especially their shiny, shiny shoes! Alice has a bit of paint which dribbled down her front a bit, but other than that it's perfect <3 |
mother harlot
satan
This is one amazing figure! It's absolutely huge and so well detailed, especially for it's comparatively tiny price tag (1500 yen).
Unfortunately with all those spikes and stuff, a lot of people had issues with breakages, some ending up with multiple broken or damaged figures. This was all because the packaging for it wasn't secured or padded enough, especially for something of this size. Thankfully though, mine arrived completely intact! |
lucifer
Overall, i'm a bit disappointed because i love the other figures in this line and wasn't expecting Lucifer to be so low quality compared to them. But...it makes me realise how far they've come since this one was made. I think they've done amazingly with the recent demons (especially Satan with his fleshy wings) and look forward to seeing them add new ones to the line.

This figure was the hardest and most expensive of all the FuRyu Real figures for me to get (barring the Demi-fiend lottery prize) and ironically also the worst in terms of quality.
From what i understand, Lucifer here was one of the first in the Real figure line. And it shows. His sculpting is ok at best; there are a lot of moulding issues like excess plastic, seam lines, injection marks etc, but the worst issue is his, uh, ribbon? Sash? Well whatever it is, the parts don't fit together. There are big gaps between the pieces which are meant to join. As in, not just a seam line, but a seam crater. It's quite off putting. Besides that the sculpting is oddly...flat. The wings have texture but not a lot of depth which makes them look a bit sad. Similarly his face is very flat. To add to this, the painting is bad. It's very flat with a rough texture; the red paint on the wings especially looks half assed, and shiny like it's a cheap artist's acrylic. His hair is metallic shiny for some reason and a lot of the green from his ears got smeared over his hair (he has a yellow nose from his hair paint too). The shading on his body ranges from 'subtle' to 'non-existent' though the shading on the back of his wings is actually pretty good, if a bit weird. |
thor
Thor is one of my all time favourite demons and personas, so it's no surprise that i wanted to get this figure. This one was a long time coming though. When it first came out (i guess, 3-4 years ago now? It was either 2010 or 2011 i think) i was pretty much broke with no income to speak of, so owning this guy was out of the question. I just kinda watched his price skyrocket and thought i'd never get a chance to buy him.
But this year that changed! I found him for a semi-decent price (half the price they're asking for in this country) and pounced. I'm really glad i did, because he's definitely worth it. |
I have to admit, after opening Lucifer's figure i was slightly worried that Thor would be horrible too, but happily that's not the case. He's well crafted with a great paint job; lots of shiny paint where it should be, like on his mjolnir, helm and uh, armour plated leotard. The shading is pretty decent too, if a little heavy on his muscles. He has a few obvious seam lines, but otherwise he's rather good, especially for the retail price (about 1500 yen i think).
loki
Managed to win this figure for the low, low starting bid of 100 yen! (about $1 or 64p)
I'm not too sure why, but Loki is selling for peanuts while the figure he came in a twin pack with (Beelzebub) is going for 4-7000 yen. The same thing happened with Black frost and it's very annoying! Either way, Loki is stunning. I had it in my mind that he wouldn't be too different to the trading figure but...that's not the case. He's 18 cm tall wing to base while the trading figure is much smaller. Besides that, he's far more detailed. His base is very heavy, made from clear plastic. His hair, buckles/accessories and clothing is painted nicely with shiny metallic paint. I especially like how his wings have red and blue accents to them, it's pretty cool. Overall i really love this figure! I didn't really have expectations cause i got it for cheaps, but yeah. I love it =P |
mokoi
mothman
Mothman! Isn't he cute? He's..um..pretty wafer thin which i don't remember him being, but then i only ever used him for fusion fodder, so what do i know?
His wings are really nice and well painted. I like that his antennae are colourful too. He's also been sculpted with some furry texture to his body, not just smooth, which is a nice detail.

nue minna no kuji prize d
pyro jack minna no kuji prize e
My favourite of the smaller prize figures! Pyro jack has such a great amount of texture and shading for being a common prize. I love how detailed his little lantern is, and how they've sculpted his face with an orange peel like texture. The shading on his cape and hat is particularly lovely.
one coin figures
pixie one coin figures
Here are the normal and special metallic green coloured pixie figures! I bought the green one first for a steal because the seller had relisted and relisted for MONTHS with no sale...so she dropped the price right down and i bought it =3 As soon as i got it i fell in love...so i bought the coloured one too XD
They're both amazing figures that i love for different reasons. For instance, i love the coloured one's transparent base and wings but her face colouring is a little...off. The green one is lovely because i can look at all the sculped details without being distracted by all the different colours - it just seems easier to see, for some reason. Maybe the light bouncing off the metallic paint?

angel one coin figures
Here's angel, another lower level summon in P3P like Pixie. And, like Pixie, she's also very scantily clad. Funnily enough though i don't mind, because Angel reminds me of those angel statues you see in churches and sacred places. There's a holiness and a thoughtfulness about her which i like, despite her wearing a belt to cover her boobs and no knickers.
Like Pixie i got both versions (instead of buying vishnu...but i don't like him anyway) and i love both in different ways. The metallic green one has more technical issues than the coloured one, however you see they both share an issue with standing by themselves. The coloured angel can manage for a while, but green angel cannot stand to save her life and ultimately keels over at some point even when leaning against something. Her base and head also pop off regularly. Usually when the above happens. Out of the two angel is vastly more difficult to put together than pixie, since nothing fits very well, so that is an issue. Regardless of my nitpicking, these figures are great quality.

scathach resin garage kit
AHH i finally finished painting her! It didn't take that long actually; around
3-4 days in total. I had to do it all at once otherwise i'd run out of energy and never finish her (like every other project ever). |
Scathach is one of my favourite ever demons and i'm pretty sure an official figure was never made, so i'm glad i came across this kit! She's quite a large figure too - from the green base to the top of her hat she is around 16-17 cm tall (the black base makes her around 18-20 cm tall). I measured her body and she seems to be approx 23 cm tall, which would make her roughly 1/8 scale; perfect to pair with Megahouse's Raidou when he's released!
custom moh shuvuu figure
|
I decided that Raidou (when he is released at the end of this month) really needs a moh shuvuu to go with Scathach and Mokoi...so i made one!
I used the Alice prize figure as a base to build her on (i took casts of her face, legs and dress) and sculpted/cast her using epoxy putty. Then i painted her with artists acrylics and rustoleum spray paint. She has like a million flaws but she'll do! >_< (for now, until they hopefully make a prize figure of her...maybe).
